I wonder how long it will take for them to start freaking out over the cost of getting the roof repaired. I wonder if all the people that were pro Vancouver 2010 are still happy they got the bid. I wonder if they would even bother to fix the roof if it wasn't for the Olypmpics coming to town.

Over the past few months, it is almost as if all of Vancouver's weaknesses have been exposed. First, we had massive rainstorms and couldn't drink our water for almost 2 weeks. Then came the snow storms that, of course, made people act like morons on the road (I know! Let's drive real fast and slam on the brakes! That won't kill people!) Then the storm that devasted Stanley Park. Now, BC Place had a hole torn in it's roof and, later that day, there was a security breach at YVR. It's almost laughable.
